Connecticut REALTORS® reports that the single-family residential home median sales price is $273,000 which reflects a 3 percent increase from $265,000 in that same time period last year. Median indicates that half the homes sold for more and half for less. Single-family residential home sales in Connecticut decreased a slight 0.1 percent comparing July 2017 to July 2016. The total units of homes sold were 3,694 in July 2017 and 3,698 in July 2016.

Townhouses and condominiums median sales price is $169,000 representing a 1.2 percent increase from $167,000 in that same time period in 2016. Sales in Connecticut decreased a slight 0.5 percent comparing July 2017 to July 2016. Total units sold were 803 in July 2017 and 807 in July 2016.

In comparison, the number of single family homes sold in Eastern CT is up 20% comparing July 2017 to July 2016, from 408 to 492.  The median price of $210,000 in July shows a 3.45% increase over the same period last year.
